چکیده
Polyvinyl alcohol/sodium alginate (PVA/SA) hydrogel was successfully prepared by freeze thaw process. Without crosslinking agent, formed using 3, 5 and 7 consecutive cycles of thaw. Hydrogel can be hydrogen bonding formation between OH-group sodium polyvinyl alcohol throughout network. Scanning electron microscope reported that microstructure well packed. The interconnect porosity also observed. Differential scanning calorimetry exhibited two exothermic peaks at temperature 110℃ 225℃ were observed due to evaporation water molecule melting hydrogel, respectively. swelling behavior rapidly increased within initial stage then it dimensionally stable. With low content, tensile strength slightly superior, whereas in vitro degradation It remarkable note outstanding properties for being as a medical material.

Alginate-Collagen Fibril Composite Hydrogel
We report on the synthesis and the mechanical characterization of an alginate-collagen fibril composite hydrogel. Native type I collagen fibrils were used to synthesize the fibrous composite hydrogel. We characterized the mechanical properties of the fabricated fibrous hydrogel using tensile testing; rheometry and atomic force microscope (AFM)-based nanoindentation experiments. The results show...
متن کاملFreeze-Thaw Bayesian Optimization
In machine learning, the term “training” is used to describe the procedure of fitting a model to data. In many popular models, this fitting procedure is framed as an optimization problem, in which a loss is minimized as a function of the parameters. In all but the simplest machine learning models, this minimization must be performed with an iterative algorithm such as stochastic gradient descen...
متن کاملAnisotropic polyvinyl alcohol hydrogel for cardiovascular applications.
Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a hydrophilic polymer with various characteristics desired for biomedical applications and can be transformed into a solid hydrogel by physical crosslinking, using a low-temperature thermal cycling process. As with most polymeric materials, the mechanical properties of the resultant PVA are isotropic, as oppose to most soft tissues, which are anisotropic. The objectiv...
متن کاملFreeze-Thaw Resistance of Concretes with BFSA
Abstract—Air-cooled Blast Furnace Slag Aggregate (BFSA) is usually referred to as a material providing for unique properties of concrete. On the other hand, negative influences are also presented in many aspects. The freeze-thaw resistance of concrete is dependent on many factors, including regional specifics and when a concrete mix is specified it is still difficult to tell its exact freeze-th...
متن کاملFreeze-Thaw Durability of Air-Entrained Concrete
One of the most damaging actions affecting concrete is the abrupt temperature change (freeze-thaw cycles). The types of deterioration of concrete structures by cyclic freeze-thaw can be largely classified into surface scaling (characterized by the weight loss) and internal crack growth (characterized by the loss of dynamic modulus of elasticity). The present study explored the durability of con...
